Basketball, Tyler's True Love

Tyler tip off @ Parowan. He got the tip, dressed in red.
Takin' it to the hoop against Piute.

Gotta love that jump shot!

Senior night. Tyler thinks a lot of Coach Burgess.

Tyler at Emery dressed in red, making those awesome jumpers!
The videos take forever to put on so that all I'm doing. Tyler had some fun this year with left handed lay ups, jump shots, rebounds and 2, which is in the 2nd video, steals and the awesome blocks! He played great defense and I had a blast watching him. Leisha took these videos on my still shot camera. It was fun. We took 2nd in Region and will play Richfield to go to state Saturday. Notice you'll hear the crowd call him T-Dub. It's his Kanab nickname. He received it the second day he was here in the weight room. Even most parents call him T-Dub. We lost our last game by 4 points, but came back from a 20 deficit in the first half. We just needed 30 more seconds on the clock. Kanab took 2nd in region and had a fun year over all.

Thankful

This time of year, not just because it's Thanksgiving time, I get really thankful for all my blessings, anyway the blessings I realize I have. Danielle is on a mission serving the Lord, Leisha is living and working in St. George (closer to home), Lacee and Dave love each other and my sweet grandchildren are healthy and happy, and Tyler is so good to me. I call on my brothers and sisters at anytime for anything and they help me out. Good friends are just a phone call away. I have a good job, a nice warm home, food in my belly, a way to get around from town to town, and right now I am experiencing better health. The Lord really takes care of me, even when I think times are hard, He's still blessing me tremendously.

Kanab Homecoming '08

Tyler and Friends enjoy being Royal for a week. Thanks to Julie Jackson and her pic skills, I have this picture.

The kids dressed up weird most days, had assemblies, etc. Homecoming game with Rich was a scary one. We pulled it out in the 4th quarter. Here's a pic of Judd (Justin Orton). He played his little buns off.

Too Much Missionary Fun

I finally received some pictures from Danielle. She looks so happy. She says there are not enough missionaries there. They are working fast and furious to get to all the people who want to hear the gospel. Two baptisms already and many more waiting to hear about the church. She loves the people and area. I'm putting pics on here but have no clue who they all are. It's just so fun to see my little sweetheart happy and doing well, while she's far far away!

Martin's Cove

Tyler ran up Independence Rock.
Pretty place, but oh so mean in the winter to those pioneers.

Go North Young Man

Tyler and I vacationed in Yellowstone. We saw a grizzly bear. Up close it seemed kinda cuddly! Okay, from the car...

Teton Mountains can be scaled. Watch this video for a quick explaination!

Tyler takes a dip in this hot pool. The heat burned his eyes and which released his eye color and painted the pool. This sounds like some of my 2nd grader's stories. Notice the yuck smelly facial expression.

The waterfalls are awesome. Extreme water pressure caused Tyler to decline a swim.

The visit to Mount Rushmore gave us some patriotic perspective.

Tyler looked exactly like George, don't you think?

We stayed for the night program. Slowly they turned on the lights, while music played. Then they had veterans pass the flag when it was retired. It was so moving, I cried big tears!

Devil's Tower looked like the jolley green gianted had made a special cake. Up close it looked like fancy icing, similar to Aunt Sally's wedding cakes! Nature at it's best!

Boating with Babes

Tyler is blowing you a ski kiss!

Cor bean o rode this crazy thing with his Momma (Lacee). Grandma didn't crash them.

Leisha Bug is a crazy nut. She turns this chariot every which way, even upside down!

Baby Shalyce loved the water. She would try to get back into the water when we'd pull her out.
I didn't get super stud Dave on the chariot, but he was awesome. standing like a true warrior!
Lacee drove the boat in and loaded it on the trailer. I didn't know she knew how. It's nice to have someone else drive.

Tyler with the hot babe Susannah. They had a spectacular crash along with many others.
